Dragonspire: Pets

I collaborated with the concept artists to develop a pipeline for creating modular pet assets. Each pet consisted of interchangeable components, including a body type, face accessory, back accessory, eyebrows, eyes, and mouth accessory—all designed to be compatible across different body types. The pets were textured in greyscale, allowing us to use color curves in UE5 to dynamically apply colors to masked areas based on their elemental skin. I also had the opportunity to model the pet eggs that were then animated to represent the pets hatching from the eggs.

As the Art Lead, I was responsible for defining the game's overall 3D visual style and ensuring that the materials, lighting, camera work, and designs complemented our gameplay mechanics and visual goals I'm incredibly grateful for the time I spent working on this game alongside such passionate and dedicated developers at the startup.
